Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I absolutely love all sorts of music, travel, skincare, and writing about anything I spontaneously become interested in. I hope you love it here as much as I do!

My July 2026 Beauty and Health Empties and Reviews

My July 2026 Beauty and Health Empties and Reviews

In 2025, I set out on a mission to love my morning and night routine. When I took a look at my bathroom drawers, my piles of makeup, and my vanity, I knew there were products I loved in there, but all I could see was junk. I wanted to enjoy my time while putting on my makeup and while taking it off. Between all the items that were given to me and all of the ones I bought mindlessly, I was in a haze where I didn’t know what I loved and what I put up with.

To put a stop to haphazard buying and begin purposeful purchases, I began reviewing every “empty” I had. I’m so happy to see that in July, I have barely any reviews to do. I’m almost positive that this is the first time I have ever had under ten products to review as well, which is wonderful! I could be wrong about that, but if I am, I know that it is certainly the first time I’ve had this little of an amount in quite some time! I’m on my way to a much cleaner, more sustainable, and fully cruelty-free and vegan vanity, and I am so happy about it.

Panoxyl Acne Foaming Wash - 10% Benzoyl Peroxide

This is my absolute favorite face wash, and I am so happy that they are both vegan and cruelty-free. For me, this controls my acne so well and doesn’t irritate my skin at all. I first use an oil cleanser and then wash my face with this for about 60 seconds, and then I’m done! If you are hesitant to use this because you have sensitive skin, I would recommend starting with the 4% version and stopping there or working your way up. I have very sensitive skin, and this doesn’t bother me at all, but everyone is different.

Repurchase: Yes.

The Inkey List Ectoin Hydro-barrier Serum

My sister gave me this because someone else gave it to her, and it claims to help your skin barrier, so I wanted to give it a go. I personally saw no difference, but my skin is neither dry nor irritated right now, so I’m not sure there was a lot to fix. Because of that, I can’t attest to whether this product was beneficial. That being said, I do think that this was very hydrating and I didn’t mind the extra hydration it added to my routine. If you are trying to rebuild your skin barrier, I would recommend this since the brand is cruelty-free and this product is vegan.

Skinfood Rice Brightening Daily Mask

Nina Poole recommended trying these, but unfortunately, I believe they slightly broke me out. I liked using them, but I don’t believe they added any hydration to my skin or brightened it either. I used the entire box of masks so I wouldn’t waste them, but I also felt like I was contributing to waste because of how many sheets I was throwing away. I’ve said this in previous empty articles, but I am moving away from disposable masks, so that is another reason I won’t be repurchasing these.

Repurchase: No.

The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Density

This was my second bottle of this, and I do think that I am starting to see a difference. My hairdresser said that she is seeing a difference as well. I apply this to my scalp every night, and I really like that it is more like a watery serum rather than oily. Then I can still avoid washing my hair every day while using this. It is a tad expensive, but I am willing to invest. I have already bought another bottle, so hopefully we see the results continue.

Repurchase: Yes.

No makeup empties in July. Check back next month ~

TheraBreath Whitening Oral Rinse - Dazzling Mint

So, my heart has been broken. TheraBreath is no longer cruelty-free. In every past empty article, I have raved about them and about how much I love them. I loved that their mouthwash wasn’t as alcohol-based as others were, and I loved how fresh it left my mouth. But now, I am going to have to part with them. I don’t understand why it is so hard for these companies to keep their promise to consumers and keep their harmful hands off animals. I am very disappointed. I need to find another brand as soon as possible now.

Repurchase: No.

Optimum Nutrition Micronized Creatine - Blueberry Lemonade

I decided to try creatine, but I am not sure this is the brand for me. I would like to give adding creatine to my fitness routine a real try, but I want to find a brand with a message that I like. This creatine was fine, but not the best. It never fully mixed into the drink, so I would have to stir the drink with my straw while quickly drinking it. The flavor was good, but I’m not too concerned about that. I didn’t see any difference in my routine or any results, but I am assuming you have to take it long term. Either way, I would like to test other brands.

Repurchase: No.

Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream

I got this from my sister as well, and I really like the scent, but to me, the price tag isn’t worth it. I would rather buy a larger-sized lotion that is thicker and cheaper. I also don’t plan on buying this for the intended use of only being applied to one area of the body, so I wouldn’t really be using this correctly anyway. Because they are cruelty-free, I can say that if you like a lighter lotion that smells phenomenal and you don’t care about the price, this is an amazing choice. The smell lasts a decent amount of time as well.

Repurchase: No.

Nature’s Bounty Magnesium Glycinate Capsules

I love magnesium glycinate, and I will continue to take it for the rest of my life. It helps me sleep so well, and I get a much deeper sleep since I started taking this. My doctor really likes that I take it as well, and she says it is great for me, so if she approves, then I will continue taking it.

Repurchase: Yes.

TheraBreath Whitening Toothpaste - Dazzling Mint

I do like this toothpaste, but for the same reasons as mentioned in my other TheraBreath review, I will not be repurchasing this.

Repurchase: No.
