My November 2025 Beauty and Health Empties and Reviews
In 2025, I set out on a mission to love my morning and night routine. When I took a look at my bathroom drawers, my piles of makeup, and my vanity, I knew there were products I loved in there, but all I could see was junk. I wanted to enjoy my time while putting on my makeup and while taking it off. Between all the items that were given to me and all of the ones I bought mindlessly, I was in a haze where I didn’t know what I loved and what I put up with.
To put a stop to haphazard buying and begin purposeful purchases, I began reviewing every “empty” I had. Over the summer, I began researching cruelty-free and vegan products and entertaining the idea of having a fully cruelty-free and vegan vanity. In November, I now barely have any products to review! I have really been dwindling down my usage and finding items that last longer, are more sustainable, and are cruelty-free. When I looked at my products at the end of the month, I was so surprised to see so few, but so happy about it. I can’t wait to keep moving further in this direction, and for the first time, I have an equal amount of repurchases to items I won’t be repurchasing! Thank you, November!
Mediheal Tea Tree Essential Mask
I have used this as a toner pad before, and I prefer the Tea Tree mask much more. I really, really loved how moisturizing it was and how much serum was in the packet, so I could use it on the rest of my body as well. I didn’t see any drastic difference other than my skin being more moisturized after use and the day after, even, but I wasn’t expecting it to change my life, so that’s nothing to worry about. When I bought this, it was under $3, so I believe it was very affordable and makes a good addition to a self-care night.
Repurchase: Yes.
Narikiri Face Pack - Kuromi
I got this at Tesolife for fun, and I will admit, it was fun. I think it broke me out a little bit, and I saw no added moisture to my skin, but not every small purchase has to be serious! I love face masks, and I was expecting this one to be maybe purple or something for Kuromi, but no, it was literally Kuromi’s face printed on the entire face mask. So when I put it on, I looked like a distorted Kuromi, which was very fun. I’m glad I bought this, and I will definitely keep buying fun face masks in the future, but now that I've tried this one, I won’t buy it again.
Repurchase: No.
Pantene Pro-V Miracle Rescue Deep Repair Conditioner
I really loved this conditioner, and it was my second or third time going through a bottle of this. I think it really helped with my hair frizz, and I would keep it in my hair for at least five minutes in the shower to let it soak in for effect. Sadly, Pantene is not cruelty-free, which is really disappointing because this conditioner is really affordable, and when paired with a shampoo, it’s even cheaper. I have one more Pantene product to go through, and then I am done with all of them, but again, this conditioner is really nice and affordable, just not cruelty-free.
Repurchase: No.
Tarte Tartelette Tubing Mascara - Black
I got this as a freebie with a clothing order I made, so it is the sample size, but I ended up really loving it. I’m not normally willing to pay for more expensive mascaras when there are drug store ones I really like, but this one had me considering. Right now, it’s a no, but again, I am considering. This didn’t flake onto my under eye, and it didn’t bleed onto my eyelid throughout the day. I really loved the wand and it laid mascara onto my eyelashes perfectly. I was surprised by this mascara and wished I had the full size.
Repurchase: No.
e.l.f. Squeeze Me Lip Balm - Vanilla Frosting
I got this because of a recommendation, and I ended up really liking it. I love vanilla-scented stuff, and the scent of this was very sweet and stayed that way throughout the whole time I used it. It is rather small, but it lasted me a super long time, which was awesome. I think I would like to try out their other lip balm, which kind of looks like it's almost a lip gloss as well, and I also want to try the strawberry one. I will definitely be repurchasing.
Repurchase: Yes.
TheraBreath Whitening Fresh Breath Oral Rinse - Dazzling Mint
If you’ve read my reviews before, you know I absolutely love this mouthwash. I’ve been using it for maybe over four months now, and I will never look back. I can’t speak for it whitening my teeth, but maybe it does over time. I have just never tracked whether there is a gradual change. I like how natural this mouthwash feels without that alcohol aftertaste. It feels fresh and keeps my breath fresh for longer than I’ve experienced with other mouthwashes. It is a little bit more expensive than others, but for the quality and the fact that it is cruelty-free, I will pay more easily.
Repurchase: Yes.
Wild Deodorant - Orange Marmalade
This was my first time using Wild Deodorant, and I was skeptical since it is more natural, but surprisingly, I really liked it. I signed up for their subscription, so I have three more on the way as well. I got the refillable Paddington case with my name on it, and even with the case and the deodorant, since I used a referral code and signed up for automatic refills, it was cheaper than a deodorant from the store. I really like this scent as well. I can’t smell it when sweating, but I can smell it on myself. I read in the reviews that people saw deodorant on their clothes, and I did as well, but you can easily wipe that off, no biggie. To clean the case, I just wipe it off with a cloth or a cotton ball, and it is clean again!
Repurchase: Yes.
Sol de Janeiro Hair and Body Perfume Mist - Cheirosa 68
I got this for Christmas, and while it wouldn’t be my go-to scent, I really liked it. I think if you wear vanilla lotion, the two scents complement each other really well, too. What I will say is that the scent doesn’t last, but since it is a perfume mist, I wouldn’t really expect it to. It lasted me almost a year, but I did use it on and off. I think if you are looking for something fun and a nice addition to wear around the house, this would work well. If you are looking for a perfume to wear out, I would look elsewhere.
Repurchase: No.
Plackers Micro Line Dental Flossers
I have always used these flossers, and I probably always will until I find something more sustainable that offers the same experience. I do not like traditional floss, which is on me, I guess. When I use these, I feel like they work better, and I feel cleaner after. I struggle to use regular floss, but I’m also not willing to not floss. This might be my downfall when it comes to sustainability, but I will look for an alternative. I really like these for their functionality, and I never find that the floss breaks during use. They do their job well, and I like the scraper on the bottom side of the floss pick. I’ve been using these for probably fifteen years, and they’ve never done me wrong.
Repurchase: Yes.
up&up Hydrocolloid Gel Bandages
I bought these because someone said that you could put them on your face for multiple pimples in one spot, and they work as a big pimple patch. I sadly completely disagree, and I was really skeptical because you have to keep these on for a really long duration for them to start working, and you can keep them on for up to seven days. Well, I’m not walking around with these on my face for seven days. I ended up getting bad injuries (not even blisters, just full-on missing skin) while walking around in new shoes, and I put these on the areas, and I actually do think that they promoted healing. I’m not sure if I would repurchase, though, because I’d rather just keep regular bandages around.
Repurchase: No.
